iPhone 14
There may not be much of a difference between the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 in terms of size, width and length so you may think you can fit your old phone case in there. However, this is unlikely if you want maximum protection for your new phone as it won't snugly fit. There is roughly a 0.20 mm difference between to two in terms of thickness. Furthermore, Apple has decided to move the power and volume buttons this year-round ever so slightly so they won't fit perfectly anymore.
iPhone 14 Plus
The iPhone 14 Plus is an all-new phone in the line-up so there isn't a predecessor you can compare it to. No iPhone 13 cases compare in size, thickness and camera location.
iPhone 14 Pro
If you decide to upgrade to a pro, there are even more changes with this device than the regular iPhone 14. Apple has increased the height and the thickness by roughly 1mm. Like the iPhone 14, the volume and power buttons have also moved slightly and the camera is ever larger than before.
iPhone 14 Pro Max
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is pretty much similar to the other phones in the series. However, the width of the iPhone 14 Pro max is smaller and the phone is slightly thicker by 1mm like the other phones in the iPhone 14 series. As before, the volume and power buttons have also moved and the camera is slightly different too.
In conclusion, it looks like you'll need a brand-new phone case if you decide to get an iPhone 14. While you may be able to use your iPhone 13 phone cases, we don't recommend it as there won't be a snug fit and there is more of a chance of damage if you drop your phone.
